- The Photoresistor, also known as LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), changes the resistance with the variation in the amount of light. This LDR has a resistance of 5-10k Ohm in light and about 500k Ohm resistance in the dark.
- Automatic Headlight Dimmer | Nightlight control | Oil burner flame out | Streetlight control | Absence / Presence (Beam breaker) | Position sensor
- Diameter : 5 mm
- LDR can be used for Camera exposure control, Auto slide focus, Photocopy machines (the density of the toner), Colourimetric test equipment, Densitometer, Electronics scales, Automatic gain control and Automated rear view mirror.
- Light Resistance : 10K Ohm @ 10Lux Dark Resistance : 1.0M Ohm @ 0 Lux Max. Voltage : 150 volt Max. Power : 100 mW Operating Temperature : -30° to 70° C
Product description
The LDR 5mm Light-Dependent Resistor PhotoResistor sensor works fine in both light and dark regions. Light-dependent resistors or photoresistors are a staple of electronics. It is useful to sense the level of ambient light. As the light on the sensor increases, the resistance across the two leads decreases. Cell resistance falls with increasing light intensity.
