A separate small gear pulley is attached in the pinion,  if you attach a 5 or 6mm diameter shaft gear motor then simply remove the extra pulley from the Pinion bore. Use it to convert rotational motion from a motor/pulley to linear motion. This rack can be used with all our Mod 1 type Pinion Gears, which have compatible pitch. Use different pinion gear sizes to get the required linear speed and torque. Perfect for use in science projects, robotics, etc.
